Triennes Rose 2024

Regular price £12.99

A fresh, pale Provence rosé with citrus, red berries, and subtle saline elegance. Dry, silky, and highly food-friendly.

Founded in 1989 by two of Burgundy’s most revered names - Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac and Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti - Domaine de Triennes brings Burgundian precision and philosophy to the sun-kissed hills of Provence. Together with their friend Michel Macaux, they transformed an overlooked corner of the Var into an estate celebrated for quality, balance, and elegance.

The 2024 Rosé continues this legacy with a classic Provençal blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, and Merlot, grown on organically farmed clay-limestone soils. Harvested at night for freshness and vinified with Burgundian care, it delivers a luminous pale pink colour, expressive aromas of wild strawberries, citrus, and white flowers, and a palate that is crisp, mineral-driven, and perfectly balanced.

Critically acclaimed, Triennes Rosé is regularly praised by international reviewers - Decanter awarded the 2024 vintage 90 points, while Wine Review Online hailed it as “lively, refreshing, and lush with berry flavours.”

Prestigious heritage, organic farming, and a refined, elegant style make this one of Provence’s most celebrated rosés - a benchmark for quality and value.

Description

Domaine de Triennes Rosé 2024 is essentially the same house approach that has made Triennes Rosé so successful: a pale, finely judged Provence rosé that offers not just beauty and freshness, but enough texture and flavour to work properly at the table. The estate’s Burgundian roots help explain why this rosé so often feels a little more complete and thoughtfully balanced than simpler category examples.

Built mainly on Cinsault with supporting Grenache, Syrah, and Merlot, the wine is harvested and pressed to preserve freshness and delicacy. The result is one of those Provençal rosés that can satisfy both casual summer drinkers and more serious customers looking for something dry and genuinely useful with food.

A very safe premium rosé recommendation because it consistently delivers exactly what Provence should, with a little extra polish.
