The Patres cuvée is produced exclusively from 100% Nebbiolo sourced across the eleven villages of the Barolo DOCG. Following fermentation, the wine is matured in large Slavonian oak casks before extended bottle ageing, allowing the naturally firm tannins of Nebbiolo to soften while developing the complexity and elegance synonymous with great Barolo.
The outstanding 2021 vintage displays remarkable purity and balance, combining vibrant fruit with floral aromatics, savoury spice and exceptional ageing potential. Awarded 91 points by both Wine Enthusiast and James Suckling, it is a superb introduction to one of Italy's greatest wine styles.
