Appleton Estate Signature Blend
Appleton Estate Signature Blend is a quintessential Jamaican rum crafted from estate-grown molasses and distilled in both copper pot stills and column stills for balance and character. Aged an average of 4 years in ex-bourbon oak and bottled at 40% ABV, it delivers smooth caramel, orange peel, vanilla and warm island spice.
Produced entirely at Appleton Estate in Jamaica’s Nassau Valley - under the expertise of Master Blender Joy Spence - it offers genuine Jamaican flavour and excellent versatility. Whether poured into a Mai Tai, mixed with ginger beer or sipped on ice, Signature Blend is a reliable and authentic Caribbean rum with real heritage and depth.
Appleton Estate Signature Blend is a classic Jamaican rum built on fruity pot-still character, smooth column-still balance, and real tropical ageing. Unlike light, neutral mixing rums, Appleton Signature carries unmistakable Jamaican identity — orange zest, vanilla, spice, molasses and gentle oak all in a smooth, approachable package.
Designed for both sipping and cocktails, it offers deeper flavour than typical mixing rums but remains easy to use in Daiquiris, Mai Tais, Rum Punches and premium Cuba Libres. For many bartenders, it is the ideal “house” Jamaican rum: versatile, authentic, and consistently high quality.
Appleton Estate is Jamaica’s oldest continuously operating sugar estate and distillery, with over 265 years of rum production history. Grown, distilled and aged entirely on the estate in the lush Nassau Valley, Appleton controls every step of production, from sugarcane variety to blending.
The rums are crafted by Master Blender Joy Spence, the first woman in the world to hold that title in the spirits industry. Appleton embraces traditional Jamaican rum-making — copper pot stills, long tropical ageing and no shortcuts. Even the youngest rum in Signature Blend has been aged in oak, giving natural richness and colour.
