Barbadillo Pale Cream Sherry

Regular price £12.99

Barbadillo Pale Cream is a delicately sweetened Manzanilla-style Sherry made from 100% Palomino Fino, aged under flor in Sanlúcar’s coastal bodegas and bottled at ~15–17% ABV. It offers soft floral sweetness, almond, citrus and a touch of sea-salted minerality with a clean, elegant finish.

Crafted by Barbadillo - one of Spain’s most historic Sherry houses since 1821 - this Pale Cream is a refined, refreshing alternative to richer Cream Sherries, perfect chilled as an aperitif or with fruit desserts and light cheeses.

Overview & Distillery

Barbadillo Pale Cream offers the freshness and salty finesse of Manzanilla with a soft touch of sweetness — lighter and more elegant than traditional Cream Sherries. It begins as a dry, flor-aged wine and is subtly sweetened, resulting in a smooth, floral and gently honeyed style that remains bright and refreshing.

This makes Pale Cream an accessible introduction to Sherry: not bone-dry, not heavy or sticky — just delicately sweet, soft, and easy to drink. Barbadillo’s coastal ageing preserves clean salinity, making it excellent as a chilled aperitif or paired with fruit-based desserts and salty snacks.

Founded in 1821, Bodegas Barbadillo is one of Sanlúcar’s most historic wine houses and a global benchmark for Manzanilla. Their cathedral-style cellars, exposed to Atlantic breezes, create ideal conditions for flor ageing — giving a saline, elegant signature to all their biologically aged wines.

By starting with genuine Manzanilla and sweetening with natural must, Barbadillo produces Pale Cream with more finesse than many commercial versions — fresh, balanced and authentically Jerez.
