Boatyard Double Gin
Distinctive, complex, and proudly Irish, Boatyard Double Gin is handcrafted at The Boatyard Distillery on the banks of Lough Erne, County Fermanagh. Distilled from organic wheat spirit using a double juniper process, it delivers exceptional clarity, smoothness, and depth.
Infused with botanicals such as sweet gale, juniper, and lemon peel, this gin captures the wild purity of Ireland’s northwest coast. Bottled at 46% ABV, it is vibrant, bold, and perfectly balanced - equally suited to sipping neat or elevating classic cocktails.
A testament to craftsmanship and sustainability, Boatyard Double Gin stands as one of Ireland’s most authentic and celebrated small-batch gins - elegant, powerful, and unmistakably pure.
Bold, aromatic, and crafted with precision, Boatyard Double Gin is a premium Irish gin distilled on the shores of Lough Erne in County Fermanagh. Produced in small batches from 100% organic wheat spirit, it takes its name from its unique double-contact distillation method — where juniper is both macerated and vapour-infused for greater depth and purity of flavour.
Bottled at 46% ABV, Boatyard Double Gin delivers a robust, juniper-forward character balanced by bright citrus and soft spice, anchored by the distinctive local botanical sweet gale (bog myrtle) for a uniquely Irish twist.
Authentic, confident, and uncompromising, this is a gin that celebrates craftsmanship, provenance, and the natural beauty of its surroundings.
Founded in 2016 by Joe McGirr, a former operations manager at The Glenmorangie Company, The Boatyard Distillery was established in a converted boatyard overlooking Lough Erne in Northern Ireland. The distillery was born from a vision to produce organic, field-to-bottle spirits that reflect the landscape and purity of Fermanagh’s waterways.
Boatyard Double Gin was the distillery’s debut spirit and remains its flagship expression. Every step of production - from sourcing organic wheat to distilling and bottling - takes place on-site, with a commitment to traceability and sustainable practices.
Combining traditional copper pot distillation with modern innovation, The Boatyard Distillery has become one of Ireland’s most respected craft gin producers, recognised for quality, authenticity, and integrity.
