Château Léoville Barton 2022 (OWC)
One of Saint-Julien's historic Second Growths, Château Léoville Barton has been under Barton family ownership since 1826.
The 2022 is a powerful, Cabernet-led expression of the estate, combining concentrated black fruit, graphite and floral notes with fine-grained tannins and considerable freshness. A structured, classical Léoville Barton from an exceptional Bordeaux vintage, built for long-term development.
Château Léoville Barton was classified Deuxième Grand Cru Classé in 1855 and remains under Barton family ownership. Its vineyards occupy deep gravel soils in Saint-Julien and are predominantly planted to Cabernet Sauvignon.
The estate is renowned for traditionally styled, structured and long-lived Saint-Julien.
2022 is regarded as an exceptional Bordeaux vintage, producing wines of remarkable concentration despite the hot, dry growing season.
At Léoville Barton, the vintage produced a deeply concentrated yet precise wine with the structure and freshness required for extended cellaring.
