Overview & Distillery

Croft Pale Cream is one of the world’s most famous Pale Cream Sherries — crisp, delicately sweet and refreshingly light. Unlike heavier Cream Sherries, it starts life as a biologically aged Fino, gaining flor-driven aromas of almond, chamomile and yeast before being naturally sweetened.

The result is a soft, floral Sherry with just a touch of honeyed sweetness balanced by freshness and gentle salinity. Smooth, uncomplicated and highly approachable, it’s ideal chilled as an aperitif or alongside light desserts and fruit.

Founded in 1678, Croft is one of the oldest and most historic English-founded Sherry houses, now part of González Byass, one of Jerez’s most respected producers.

Croft helped popularise Pale Cream worldwide, offering a fresher and more elegant alternative to the rich, dark Cream Sherries of the 19th and 20th centuries. Their solera ageing and use of authentic Fino as the base wine give the style more finesse and character than many sweetened commercial versions.
