Overview & Distillery

Dow’s 10-Year-Old Tawny is a premium aged Port showcasing the elegance of extended oak maturation. As wine slowly oxidises in barrel, deep ruby fruit evolves into flavours of caramel, dried fruits, toasted nuts and warm spice. Dow’s traditional drier house style makes this 10-Year Tawny refined, balanced and less sugary than most, with excellent freshness and complexity.

Smooth, silky and beautifully aromatic, it’s perfect for slow sipping, pairing with cheese or dessert, or serving slightly chilled as a luxurious aperitif.

Founded in 1798, Dow’s is one of Portugal’s greatest Port producers, now part of Symington Family Estates, a family with over 130 years of Port expertise. Grapes come from top Douro estates such as Quinta do Bomfim and Quinta Senhora da Ribeira, known for delivering concentration, structure and longevity.

Dow’s aged tawnies are matured in Vila Nova de Gaia in ancient cellars, where the cool coastal climate encourages slow, graceful barrel ageing. The style is unmistakably Dow’s: elegant, slightly drier, and richly layered.
