Each botanical is distilled separately in small copper pot stills to preserve its individual aroma before being carefully blended to create a harmonious, complex spirit. Gin Mare is produced in a small chapel-turned-distillery located in Vilanova i la Geltrú, a picturesque fishing village just outside Barcelona. The distillery embodies both tradition and innovation — combining local craftsmanship with a contemporary approach to flavour.
Developed by Global Premium Brands and the Giró family, whose distilling heritage dates back to the 19th century, Gin Mare was designed to celebrate the ingredients, culture, and rhythm of the Mediterranean. Each batch uses hand-picked botanicals sourced from across the region — olives from Spain, basil from Italy, thyme from Turkey, and rosemary from Greece — uniting the flavours of four nations in one bottle.
