Louis Latour Chablis 2023
A crisp and mineral-driven Chablis with bright citrus, green apple, and refreshing precision. Elegant, pure, and classically Burgundian.
Produced by Maison Louis Latour, an independent family-owned négociant and domaine founded in 1797 in Aloxe‑Corton. With centuries of Burgundian tradition and ownership of the largest Grand Cru holdings in Côte d’Or, Louis Latour is a benchmark for quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir across appellations
Made from Chardonnay grown on Kimmeridgian and Portlandian limestone soils, which give Chablis its signature mineral character. Fermented using traditional, temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with complete malolactic fermentation, followed by 8–10 months of aging in stainless steel, preserving freshness and purity
The palate shows lemon zest, green apple, and subtle white peach, supported by a distinctive mineral note often described as flinty or saline. The finish is clean, bright, and refreshing with lingering citrus and mineral tones.
Louis Latour Chablis 2023 is an excellent example of refined Chablis: precise, aromatic, and beautifully mineral. Ideal for those who prefer a lean, unoaked white wine with structure and finesse, rather than a buttery or oaky style.
Louis Latour Chablis 2023 comes from Chablis, the northernmost wine region of Burgundy and one of the world’s most renowned sources of mineral-driven Chardonnay. The area’s cool climate and distinctive Kimmeridgian limestone soils give Chablis its signature freshness and flinty character.
Made entirely from Chardonnay, the wine reflects the classic style that has made Chablis famous. The grapes benefit from long, slow ripening in the cooler northern climate, allowing them to retain bright acidity while developing delicate fruit character.
Produced by Maison Louis Latour, one of Burgundy’s most historic family-owned houses, the wine is crafted to showcase purity and regional typicity. Fermentation in stainless steel preserves freshness and precision, allowing the natural mineral character of the terroir to shine.
A dry, light- to medium-bodied Chardonnay that focuses on freshness and mineral clarity rather than richness or oak influence. Unlike fuller, creamy Chardonnay styles, Chablis is crisp, linear, and refreshing.
The wine feels precise and energetic on the palate, with bright acidity that keeps it lively and food-friendly. Its clean structure and subtle texture make it elegant rather than powerful.
