Description

Réserve des Armoiries Côtes-du-Rhône 2023 comes from the Southern Rhône Valley, a region known for producing approachable yet characterful blends from sun-drenched vineyards. The warm Mediterranean climate ensures full ripeness, while varied soils — including clay, limestone, and alluvial deposits — contribute to balance and structure.

The wine is typically based on Grenache, supported by Syrah and other permitted Rhône varieties. Grenache provides ripe fruit and warmth, while Syrah adds colour, spice, and a touch of structure. In 2023, favourable conditions delivered generous fruit with good balance, resulting in a wine that is expressive and easy to enjoy.

This cuvée is crafted in a classic regional style, focusing on fruit purity, smooth texture, and immediate drinkability rather than heavy extraction or extended ageing. It represents a reliable and accessible expression of Southern Rhône winemaking.

Style

A dry, medium-bodied red designed for approachability and everyday enjoyment. It has soft tannins and a rounded texture, making it smooth and easy to drink without requiring ageing.

The wine leans toward a fruit-driven, warming style rather than a structured or complex one. It offers enough depth to pair with food, but remains light enough in structure to enjoy casually.
