Overview & Distillery

Valdespino “Deliciosa” is a classic Manzanilla, bone-dry, elegant and saline, made in the traditional style with barrel fermentation — a rarity in modern Sherry. Aged in the coastal cellars of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, where ocean humidity sustains a thick, healthy layer of flor, it shows purity, freshness and unmistakable sea-breeze character.

Crisp, lightly nutty and incredibly refreshing, “Deliciosa” lives up to its name. It’s one of the most authentic and artisan Manzanillas, ideal as an aperitif or with tapas, seafood and Mediterranean dishes.

Valdespino is one of the oldest and most traditional Sherry houses, with documented heritage dating back to 1264. They are one of the very few producers still fermenting wines in old oak barrels, a method that adds texture, depth and complexity.

Their Manzanillas are aged in Sanlúcar’s historic bodegas, where Atlantic breezes encourage vigorous flor and impart the saline, delicate style that defines true Manzanilla. Deliciosa is the flagship bottling — celebrated for authenticity, elegance and craftsmanship.
