Overview & Distillery

Valdespino Inocente Fino is widely considered one of the greatest Finos in Jerez — complex, elegant and profoundly mineral. Unlike most modern Finos made in stainless steel, Inocente is fermented in old oak barrels and sourced exclusively from Macharnudo Alto, one of Sherry’s most prestigious vineyards.

Extended biological ageing under flor gives intense salinity, almond, chamomile and chalky minerality, balanced by razor-sharp dryness and freshness. This is a connoisseur’s Fino, offering more depth and authenticity than most commercial examples.

Valdespino is one of the oldest and most traditional Sherry houses, with documented history back to 1264. The winery is famous for preserving classic methods, including:
✅ Barrel fermentation
✅ Long ageing under flor
✅ Single-vineyard sourcing
✅ High solera complexity

The Macharnudo Alto vineyard, rich in white albariza chalk soils, produces grapes with intensity, salinity and structure, making Inocente a benchmark expression of terroir-driven Fino.
