Allegrini Valpolicella 2025
A bright and elegant northern Italian red with fresh cherry fruit, smooth texture, and lively balance. Juicy, refined, and effortlessly drinkable.
From the Valpolicella Classico DOC zone in northern Italy, crafted by one of the region’s most prestigious producers. Made primarily from Corvina Veronese and Rondinella, this wine represents the lighter, more elegant side of Valpolicella, without the use of dried grapes or oak aging.
In the glass, it opens with fragrant aromas of red cherry, plum, and violets, with subtle herbal and floral notes adding lift. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and silky, offering juicy red fruit, bright acidity, and smooth, polished tannins. The finish is clean and refreshing, making it a perfect everyday red.
A versatile, food-friendly wine, pairs beautifully with pasta, grilled meats, soft cheeses, or simply enjoyed on its own. It’s a perfect expression of the region’s charm and Allegrini’s signature finesse.
Allegrini Valpolicella comes from the Valpolicella DOC in Veneto, just north of Verona - one of Italy’s most historic and respected red wine regions. The rolling hills, limestone-rich soils, and cooling breezes from Lake Garda create ideal conditions for producing reds that combine freshness, purity, and finesse.
The wine is made primarily from Corvina and Corvinone, with Rondinella completing the traditional blend. These indigenous varieties are known for their bright red fruit character, gentle tannins, and vibrant acidity. Unlike Amarone or Ripasso styles, this Valpolicella is produced without grape drying, focusing instead on freshness and clarity of fruit.
Produced by Allegrini, one of the region’s most prestigious family estates, this wine reflects a commitment to precision and elegance. It showcases the lighter, more agile side of Valpolicella - a style rooted in tradition but refined through modern winemaking.
A dry, light- to medium-bodied red that prioritises freshness and drinkability over power. It’s smooth and lively rather than heavy, with soft tannins and bright acidity that make it incredibly easy to enjoy.
This is a wine built around balance and finesse. It has enough structure to pair well with food, but remains light on its feet and refreshing. Think of it as a vibrant, everyday northern Italian red — elegant, juicy, and versatile rather than bold or intense.
