Overview & Distillery

Warre’s Otima 10-Year-Old Tawny is a modern, elegant interpretation of aged tawny Port — lighter, fresher and more contemporary than traditional dark, nutty styles. Designed for relaxed, stylish drinking, Otima combines silky texture, caramel sweetness, dried fruit, and subtle nutty spice with refreshing acidity.

Aged for a decade in small oak casks, it shows classic tawny notes of fig, toffee, walnut and orange peel, balanced by Warre’s refined, slightly drier house style. Served chilled or at cellar temperature, it’s approachable, versatile and beautifully drinkable.

Warre’s is the oldest British Port house, founded in 1670, and now run by Symington Family Estates, one of the most respected names in the Douro. Known for elegance and purity of fruit, Warre’s Ports come from top vineyards in the Upper Douro, including the famous Quinta da Cavadinha.

The Otima concept was created to bring aged tawny Port into the modern era — lighter packaging, fresher style and versatile drinking occasions while maintaining traditional cask ageing and artisanal craft. It remains one of the most stylish 10-year tawnies on the market.
