Whispering Angel Rosé 2025
Whispering Angel Rosé 2025 is the iconic Provence rosé from Château d'Esclans, combining beautiful pale colour with freshness, elegance and a silky, polished texture.
Produced primarily from Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino), the 2025 displays delicate white peach, wild strawberry, citrus and pomegranate characters, balanced by crisp acidity and a smooth, dry finish. The wine is fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel, preserving its freshness and purity.
The 2025 vintage marks the 20th vintage of Whispering Angel, making this a milestone release for one of Provence's most recognisable rosés.

Côtes de ProvenceWhispering Angel is produced by Château d'Esclans, near La Motte in Provence, under the direction of Sacha Lichine.
Fruit is sourced from selected vineyards around the Esclans Valley and the wider Côtes de Provence region. For the 2025 vintage, the estate identifies the blend as primarily Grenache, Cinsault and Vermentino, with the wider house specification also including Syrah.
The grapes are harvested during the cooler part of the day and optically sorted before gentle crushing at low temperature. Free-run and pressed juices are vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by regular bâtonnage to develop texture while retaining freshness. There is no oak ageing.
A dry, elegant and beautifully pale Provence rosé, combining delicate fruit with freshness and a smooth, silky texture.
Expect white peach, wild strawberry, citrus and subtle red berry fruit, complemented by gentle floral and mineral notes.
The palate is rounded and refined, with bright acidity providing freshness and definition while subtle lees ageing adds texture and softness.

- No decanting is required; simply chill thoroughly and open when ready to serve.
- The producer gives Whispering Angel an ageing potential of around 1–2 years, although the 2025 is particularly appealing while youthful and fresh.
